SSM Services Ltd can istall the latest solar heating solutions.Matt17/02/2021Rang this company to arrange a visit to my 83 year old Grandmas house as she has been having boiler pressure issues and has been showering in cold water just to keep clean.
Advised he would visit her house to have a look on Monday afternoon. No show or no call so I made a follow up call. Advised he has been busy on a problem job and would attend Wednesday morning instead, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wednesday afternoon comes around and still no show. I called him again to find out where he was only for him to say he wouldn't be in the area again until Friday.
I found this unacceptable given my grandma has been having cold showers and he said he would visit on 2 occasions, just to no show.
If you're in desperate need of a plumber/gas engineer for the welfare of an elderly person then I wouldn't recommend SSM Services.

A new part was ordered and fitted, within the space of three days everything was working as it should be. Ian was extremely helpful and patient with my 85 year old mum and he went out of his way to ensure she understood how the new control panel worked.

Michael05/02/2013Our central heating boiler failed and we were left with no heating or hot water. We were registered with a national home emergency company who despite lots of promises let us down badly. We therefore contacted Ian who came out to us promptly and although a part was required, he returned when he promised and got us up and running again.
No hesitation in recommending him.Mick18/07/2012Ian came out to a fault with our hot water system - he did a great job at a good price - Ian went out of his way to try to keep the cost down - and he rectified a fault left by the person who installed the expansion tank.
